J-TRACK CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY – CONSTRUCTION TODAY – 04.03.2017

J-Track celebrates its 10th anniversary with expansion across the United States. A decade ago, J-Track started as a track company and eventually became a general contractor as well. “This opportunity was only possible through the faith and trust that Tom Iovino [CEO of Judlau Enterprise] had at the time,” J-Track President Mitch Levine says. “He was able to foresee the future for J-Track to succeed.”

J-TRACK CENTRAL DIVISION LOW BIDDER ON LOOP EXPANSION PROJECT – 07.20.2016

J-Track won the South Rail Loop Expansion project. The Central Division was lowest bidder out of seven other companies. Work will include constructing two loop tracks, adding up to 12,608 feet, at the south end of the Port between the existing south loop track and the new second loop track.

ONE WAY THE MTA IS PREPPING FOR A SUPERSTORM – NYMAG – 04.07.2016

The entrance to the Canal Street stop on the uptown 1 train disappeared on Wednesday afternoon, replaced by what looked like a brackish backyard swimming pool left uncovered through the winter. An orange sign poked up from the brackish pool that said STAIRWELL CLOSED — as if it were possible to assume otherwise. But the pop-up pond, which was pretty much dismantled by day’s end, was actually a test run for one of the MTA’s solutions to protect the subway system and its infrastructure against the next Superstorm Sandy.
